Pelagic Partners’ team and associates attended Posidonia which took place in Athens the previous week. Our team took part in various high – profile conferences and discussion panels related to the industry’s current challenges and opportunities that lay ahead. A well – attended reception hosted by International Maritime Industries (IMI) to promote the new King Salman Global Maritime Industries Complex was the highlight of our experience, as the reception introduced the upcoming Global Maritime Fund, our venture with IMI.
It was a great networking opportunity for industry professionals in the heart of this community. After a four-year hiatus, Posidonia Exhibitions S.A. set a new attendance record with more than 27,000 participants granting them exclusive access to international shipowners, shipping executives and suppliers. Posidonia was not only the most attended ever, but the biggest in size in its history, according to Theodore Vokos, Managing Director of Posidonia Exhibitions S.A.
Posidonia 2022 was organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, the Union of Greek Shipowners and the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping and with the support of the Municipality of Piraeus and the Greek Shipping Co-operation Committee.
