Ahmad Abou Merhi is a Director of Pelagic Partners running day to day fund management with focus on strategy and finance. He is also a second generation ship owner through his family-owned Abou Merhi Group, a diverse shipping group with a history of over 30 years. Ahmad has also been involved in closing numerous high-calibre deals within the global shipping & offshore sector as a Strategic & Commercial Advisor at Societe Generale.

Ahmad holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting & Finance and an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Bayes Business School London (previously known as Cass Business School). His academic journey admitted him into the Beta Gamma Sigma Society, who recognise the best performing business students out of the world’s top business schools.
